In a recent class my students & I played around with this fun transition from Eagle Pose (legs) to Extended Hand to Toe Pose. We had done plenty of warm up and had already explored these two postures on their own. Here's the deal with combining the two - right leg first:
From standing, bend the right leg a little, cross the left ankle over the right knee and with the right hand, hold the big toe with the thumb & first two fingers.
Inhale - stand up and extend the right leg out to the side
Exhale - cross the leg back down
Repeat about 5 times on each side.
(and if you topple over, just try again!)
