"I'm not flexible enough."
"I don't want to look stupid"
"I'm not into all that spiritual stuff"
and of course
"I can't even touch my toes!"
Have you ever found yourself muttering any of the above at the thought of trying yoga?

I know I felt quite intimidated before trying my first yoga class. I didn't know what to expect. I was worried that everyone would be doing all sorts of fancy yoga poses. I was scared that I would feel ridiculous and silly.
I know a lot of people feel like this which is such a pity. Yoga has so much to offer everyone. In the very least, here are few benefits you may experience straight away.
- Taking some timeout for yourself (it's important)
- Gently moving your body, getting your circulation going and ironing out tension (feels good just thinking about it)
- Breathing a little deeper than you would think to in your everyday life (ahhhh...)
It's called Ready.Set.Yoga (get started. get strong. get flexible) In 5 Easy Lessons.
Lessons 1-4 are each between 15-25 mins long and focus on one particular aspect of the physical yoga practice. Lesson 5 puts everything together into a delightful 30 minute yoga practice that you can do anywhere, anytime.
You can read all about it here:
After completing the online course, you should feel pretty happy about stepping into a local yoga class. And if you don't have too many options nearby, I also have a full range of online yoga classes here.
Do you have any family members or buddies that you think could also benefit from a very approachable way to get going with yoga? Please feel free to forward this info to them. I'd really appreciate it : )
