Creating Space - 10 minute quick yoga class
In this sequence we work on the idea of creating space. Sometimes the hardest part of a yoga practice is creating the space and the time to work it into your life. So well done - you're here! We will work though a range of standing and seated postures to create a sense of space in the pelvis, spine, the head and the whole body. |
Stabilise, Twist & Let Go - 11 minute quick yoga class
Make some room - you've got 11 minutes - GO! We'll work on some strength in the legs, stability around the hips and belly, a little twisting to wring you out and a softening forward bend to let it all go. Have fun! |

Shake things up and turn things around with this quick inversion sequence. We play with kicking up to handstand; this is fun, invigorating and will get your heart pumping. We end with a gentle half shoulder stand which is cooling and calming. Have a neat stack of blankets or beach towels on hand for this part of the class. |

This 10 minute yoga sequence stabilises and strengthens the core. Crescent pose with variations, side plank, yogi sit-ups and even some roly poly will get your core fired up. I like to think of the core as not only the abdominal muscles but also the whole centre line of the body - from inner ankles to inner knees & thighs, pelvic floor & lower belly, chest & crown of the head. |

In this 12 minute class we play around with an arm balance called Bakasana. In warming up, we bring some attention to finding space between the shoulder blades and then lifting the heart forward and up in a gesture of love & optimism. Enjoy! |
Hanumanasana - the Splits - 13 minute quick yoga class
This is a quick journey to doing the splits. We warm up the whole body, then get the hamstrings & quads prepared, as well as establishing a nice lift in the torso. Have a couple of blocks and a bolster (or some pillows) ready. It's great to use props when learning the splits! |
